Loving yourself is surrounding yourself with good people.

My Personal Story

I am certified as a Les Mills Body Pump Instructor and Personal Trainer however my journey into the fitness and wellbeing industry has two paths that have now converged.

I am passionate about helping people in vulnerable situations. I embarked on many volunteering projects as a teenager and felt a calling to serve vulnerable children experiencing abuse and poverty. I studied Law and specialized in Child rights, Development, Gender and Conflict studies, later using my knowledge in post-conflict zones such as in Kosovo, Iraq, Syria, and all the conflict affected countries in the Middle East.

My work has a combined approach of prevention and response. Preventing women and children from experiencing any form of abuse, and supporting women and children to recover/bounce back from any form of abuse and its impact on them.

I am not a hero, just one of the many humans in this world who have a desire to impact people lives and contribute daily with all they can.

My professional career has taken me into some challenging places. I’ve lived in post-conflict zones that are mentally, emotionally and physically challenging (eg. we had strict curfews, lack of freedom to walk alone in the streets, we always ready to be evacuated with a Quick Run Bag and all its essentials next to the bedroom door, security approvals for every move including the gym etc.).

During these difficult times and intense environments, my focus on nutrition, fitness and spiritual / faith / mindfulness is what kept me sane and what allowed me to thrive. The colleagues working daily closely with me noticed the difference and several of them joined me in the healthy and balanced lifestyle journey despite the highly stressful environment we were living and working.

What I realised is, most of us are suffering in some way. We don’t need to be living in a post-conflict zone. Everyday we battle with ourselves and the world around us is getting more complex.

More importantly, I learned that any healthy habit you form through fitness, nutrition and spiritual / faith / mindset will strengthen your resilience so you can thrive in any situation and environment. This is why I’m committed to helping women become strong and resilient in both their mind and their body.

Come join me! I would love to be part of your journey.

At the core of my approach.

Faith and Mindfulness

I’ve lived in enough countries to know faith means different things to different people. From my perspective it does not matter if you feel connected to religion or what you believe in. What matters is that you believe in yourself and you feel connected to your heart. How you get there will be different for everyone.

Some people cultivate their sense of faith and devotion through prayer, meditation, dancing, being of service, writing; I refer to these as mindfulness activities.

Some people think they will get the quickest results by only focusing on nutrition and exercise however that’s not sustainable long term. There will be times when life is busy and you don’t want to exercise or when your emotions are out of control and you don’t want to eat healthy. In these challenging moments, the mindfulness practices will help quiten your mind and open your heart so you can be kind and compassionate towards yourself.

Combining Fitness and Mindfulness

Mindfulness is defined as “a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations”.

I include mindfulness activities in all my fitness packages and I’m in awe of how quickly client’s transform.

Not your typical fitness trainer.

Friendship and Connection

It might seem odd to put the word friendship down on a website that provides a service but I genuinely believe the clients who are drawn to work with me are here because we share a heart connection.

I’m here to support, coach and educate you so you can have a deep sense of love and connection with your body. This journey might have ups and downs but together, through our friendship and heart connection, we can move through the difficult times. The end result is an inner confidence and resilience, knowing ‘you’ve got this’.

Walk through life knowing ‘you’ve got this’.
